Japanese Garden - Designs

These are the designs which I came up with for the Japanese Project. I scanned drawings from my sketchbook and imported them into Photoshop where I coloured and placed them to create patterns and layouts. I also edited some of my photographs, particularly of flowers and sat them next to hand drawn imagery. The design below secured me a work placement with leading lace company Morton, Young & Borland which I will be completing this summer. During the placement I will be translating the bridge design into lace and producing it with a view to sell it as a scarf at trade fairs.
